WASHINGTON - The AU volleyball team has earned a berth in the Division I NCAA volleyball tournament for the fifth time in school history. After clinching the Patriot League Championship the Eagles next look to conquer the Maryland Terps at the University of Maryland in College Park, Md. on Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m.

If the Eagles defeat the Terps, they will then go on to face the winner of the George Mason/Colorado State match that will also be played at the University of Maryland on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.

Against the Terps, the Eagles have a 0-6 record, with the last meeting ending in a 3-0 loss. In 2001 the Eagles extended its record against George Mason to 12-15, with a 3-0 victory, while in the same year, the Eagles had its only team meeting with Colorado State, losing 3-0.

The NCAA will announce at a later date the exact times of the matches.
