Center Valley, Pa. - While a pair of Patriot League Championships will be played this weekend, two more are right around the corner. The Patriot League Men's Soccer Championship will be held on November 13 and 15, and the Volleyball event is on Nov. 21-22.

There is just one regular-season game remaining for each men's soccer team and four contests for all of the volleyball squads. The final men's soccer weekend has Lehigh traveling to Bucknell on Friday and Colgate at American, Holy Cross at Army and Navy at Lafayette on Saturday, with each game holding significance in determining the qualifiers and seeds for the Patriot League Tournament. The volleyball weekend features matches for each team on Friday and Saturday, with Army and Holy Cross visiting Navy and American while Bucknell and Colgate go to Lehigh and Lafayette.

Take a look the potential Tournament clinching and hosting scenarios in each sport heading into the weekend action. Four teams qualify for both the men's soccer and volleyball Patriot League Championship.

Men's Soccer
Standings

Bucknell and American have captured spots in the Patriot League Tournament.

Bucknell can clinch the top seed and homefield advantage in the Patriot League Tournament with a win over Lehigh or an American loss or tie to Colgate.

American neesds a win and a Bucknell loss or tie to pass the Bison and claim the No. 1 seed. With a win or a tie, American would finish no worse than second. The Eagles could slip to third with a loss, a Lehigh win, and a Holy Cross win.

Lehigh can clinch a tournament berth with a win against Bucknell. A Mountain Hawk loss and wins by any two of Colgate, Holy Cross and Lafayette would eliminate Lehigh from tournament contention.

Colgate, Holy Cross and Lafayette are all currently tied for fourth place with nine points. Each could finish as high as third place or as low as sixth place. None of the teams completely control their own destiny to reach the Patriot League Tournament. In a potential tiebreaking scenario, Colgate owns a win over Lafayette, Holy Cross beat Colgate and Lafayette beat Holy Cross.
