If someone had told me during my senior year at Darien High School that I would be attending Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, I would have never believed them in a million years.
Had someone told me several months ago that I would be recruited to the school to play volleyball, again I would have had a hard time coming to terms with the idea.
But if someone had told me only two months ago that I would be starting as a freshman for a Division I team, I probably would have just walked away thinking they were crazy.
However, that is exactly the situation I currently find myself in: a starting college middle hitter. Right now I am sitting at my desk in my dorm room, reflecting upon the days I have been here, as well as finishing up a paper for my sociology class.
