2011 Patriot League Volleyball Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - American's Rebecca Heath, the 2011 Patriot League Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, is one of 60 student-athletes named to this year's Academic Honor Roll.

A senior anthropology major from Naperville, Ill., Heath posted a perfect 4.00 grade-point average in the fall. She was one of two student-athletes to accomplish that feat. Navy's Jean Loomis, an undeclared freshman from Havertown, Pa., was the other.

Lafayette placed the most student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll with 12 selections, while Lehigh was second with nine. Patriot League Champion American, Bucknell and Colgate tied for third with eight student-athletes each, while Army had six, Navy placed five and Holy Cross had four.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the semester of their sport's competition.
