CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Nine players from the four Patriot League Tournament teams earned All-Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Thursday.

Army and Lehigh combined for seven of the League's selection. Sophomore third baseman Kasey McCravey earned first team honors and was one of four Black Knights recognized in the Northeast Region. McCravey is joined by outfielder Amanda Nguyen (2nd), second baseman Alee Rashenskas (3rd) and pitcher Caroline Smith (3rd).

Regular season champion Lehigh placed one player on each of the three teams in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Patriot League Player of the Year Morgan Decker, a sophomore third baseman, was named to the first team, Pitcher of the Year Emily Bausher named to the second team and Defensive Player of the Year Alexis Watanabe was named to third team at second base.

Senior outfielder Jayme Mask, from Patriot League tournament champion Boston University, was named to the first team in the Northeast and Bucknell junior Cydnee Sanders is the second team shortstop in the Mid-Atlantic.

Decker, the first-ever simultaneous Patriot League Player and Rookie of the Year in softball as a freshman is a returnee to the Mid-Atlantic first team. In 2014, she led the Patriot League in slugging percentage (.724), on base percentage (.547), home runs (9), total bases (92), walks (30) and hit by pitch (11). Bausher, a second-team honoree by the NFCA as a sophomore, earned 13 wins while holding opposing batters to a .201 batting average, striking out 99 and pitching to a 2.20 ERA during the regular season. Watanabe hit .368 this season for the Mountain Hawks and successfully handled 170 of 172 chances at second base for the Mountain Hawks for a .988 fielding percentage.

Mask, a 2013 first team NFCA performer in the Terriers final season in America East, batted an even .400 in helping Boston University claim the tournament title in its first season as a member of the Patriot League. Mask led all PL players in runs scored (42) and stolen bases (34). Army's McCravey, who was second in the League in both home runs (7) and RBIs (44), was recognized by the NFCA for the first time.

The Black Knights Amanda Nguyen ended her career as the Patriot League's all-time leader in stolen bases with 115 and batted .346 in her final campaign. Caroline Smith was a second team All-Patriot League performer at pitcher this spring after posting 12 wins and a 2.97 ERA during the regular season and freshman second baseman Alee Rashenskas was in the top 10 in the Patriot League in batting average and on base percentage during her inaugural season.

Sanders finishes her junior campaign as the second leading hitter in all of NCAA Division I with a .482 batting average. She was also named the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete earlier this month.
