Gainesville, Fla.--A first-inning home run by Texas A&M senior catcher Erin Glasco gave the Aggies a 1-0 victory over Lehigh on Friday at the NCAA Tournament. The loss snapped the Mountain Hawks' nine-game winning streak. It also marked Lehigh's first loss against Texas A&M in three NCAA Tournament games. Lehigh (36-17-1) will play an elimination game against Floria A&M on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Texas A&M (32-20) moves into the winners bracket and will play top-seeded Florida at 6:00 p.m.

Lehigh senior Lisa Sweeney and Texas A&M freshman Rebecca Arbino locked into a pitchers duel. Each pitcher allowed just four hits, with Glasco's blast serving as the difference-maker. Of the game's eight hits, seven were singles. Sweeney walked two batters and struck out one. Arbino struck out six batters while walking none.

In addition to stifling the Aggies' lineup, Sweeney recorded one of the Mountain Hawks' four hits. Glasco was the only player in the game who reached base multiple times. In addition to the deciding home run, Glasco was hit by a pitch in the fourth inning.
