HAMILTON, N.Y. - Colgate University sophomore outfielder Erin Hanna (Tucson, Arizona) has been named to the first team on the 2004 CoSIDA All-Academic District I softball team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors Association.
Hanna, who is a Spanish major, carries a 3.97 grade point average. This past season, she was named first team all-Patriot League finishing the season as Colgate's fourth leading hitter with a .312 batting average.
Hanna played in 47 games for the Raiders with 45 starts. She had a personal season best for batting average, hits (40), runs scored (10) and RBI (18). During the course of the season, she had nine multiple-hit games, three multiple-RBI games, two game-winning RBI and scored five game-winning runs.
Colgate set a school record for victories in a season with a 34-17 record.
