2008 Patriot League Softball Championship Page

Day two of the 2008 Patriot League Softball Tournament was rained out and no games will be played on Friday. The tripleheader originally scheduled for Friday will be played on Saturday with the game times moved up to 10 a.m., Noon and 2:30 p.m. The championship bracket that will require either one or two games will be played on Sunday.

Tomorrow's competition will begin at 10 a.m. with No. 1 Lehigh versus No. 3 Bucknell, followed by No. 2 Lafayette vs. No. 4 Army at Noon. The winner of the Lafayette-Army game will then play the loser of the Lehigh-Bucknell game at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Play on Sunday will also be moved up with game six scheduled for 10 a.m. and game seven, if necessary, at Noon.

The winner of the 2008 Patriot League Softball Championship will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The 2008 NCAA Division I softball selection show will be aired Sunday, May 11 at 10 p.m. ET after the conclusion of the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse First Round Game #8 on ESPNU (scheduled for 7:30-10 p.m. ET).

Saturday, May 10
Game 3: Lehigh vs. Bucknell, 10 a.m.
Game 4: Army vs. Lafayette, Noon
Game 5: Winner Game 4 vs. Loser Game 3, 2:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 11
Game 6: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 5, 10 a.m.
Game 7: Winner Game 6 vs. Loser Game 6, Noon (if necessary)
