CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - With one week remaining in the Patriot League regular season, the field of four teams participating in a double-elimination tournament May 8-10 has been determined.

Army, Boston University, Bucknell and Lehigh will be the four teams involved but exact seeds and the host site won't be determined until the final weekend.

Lehigh (12-3) has a one-game lead over Boston University (11-4) and will travel to Army (9-5) for a three-game set beginning on Saturday. If the Terriers, who host Bucknell (9-6) the weekend, finish the regular season tied with Lehigh they own the tiebreaker by virtue of a 2-1 record against the Mountain Hawks this season.

The Black Knights are wrapping up a series against Holy Cross today and will enter the final weekend either firmly in third place in the league standings or tied with Bucknell.

Here are the series results in head-to-head meetings between the four playoff teams:

Army: Boston University (1-2), Bucknell (1-2), Lehigh (TBD)

Boston University: Army (2-1), Bucknell (TBD), Lehigh (2-1)

Bucknell: Army (2-1), Boston University (TBD), Lehigh (1-2)

Lehigh: Army (TBD), Boston University (1-2), Bucknell (2-1)

Army is the defending Patriot League Softball tournament champion after knocking off No. 1 seed Lehigh in the 2013 final. Boston University will be participating in the field for the first time this spring after winning nine tournament titles as a member of America East.

The 2014 Patriot League Softball Tournament opens with the No. 1 seed against the No. 4 and No. 2 versus No. 3 on Thursday, May 8. The next day of action pits the winner's of the opening day in the first contest, follow by the loser's from the opening day in an elimination game. The loser of game three faces the winner of game four in another elimination contest. The championship will be held on May 10, with the winner of game three needing one victory and the winner of game five requiring two wins to claim the League title. The Patriot League champion advances to the NCAA Tournament.
