EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette softball team's double header against Army orginially scheduled for Saturday-Sunday has been moved up to Friday-Saturday. A forecast for inclement weather on Sunday prompted the schedule change.

The Leopards host their conference season opener on Friday with a double-header beginning at 2:30 p.m. Saturday's start time will remain at noon.

The Leopards and Black Knights are meeting for the first time since Lafayette won a 5-3 decision in the opening round of the 2008 Patriot League Tournament on May 10. The Leopards went on to down Bucknell and advance to the championship game for the first time in school history.
