Player of the Week
JULIE STERRETT

Sterret posted a .412 batting average and a .471 slugging percentage in six games last week as the Mountain Hawks went 5-1. Sterret collected seven hits, scored three runs, batted in three and stole one base. Her best game came in a 6-2 win over Penn State when she went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. The sophomore outfielder put up a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, going six games without an error. This is her first weekly award of the season and the fifth for the Brown and White.
Pitcher of the Week
EMILY LING

Ling picked up one win in two appearances last week, posting a victory in an eight-inning game versus Wagner, 1-0. In a 2-1 loss to Toledo, Ling struck out 10 batters, walking only one. Versus the Seahawks she fanned nine, allowing no runs and carrying the shutout through eight frames. The Binghamton, N.Y., local leads the Mountain Hawks with three wins and 38 strikeouts on the season. This is Ling's second weekly award of the 2005 campaign.
Rookie of the Week
WHITNEY SCOTT

Scott earns her second-consecutive Rookie of the Week award after batting .500 in four games last week. Scott drove in eight runs, scored three and recorded two doubles. The freshman Raider posted the game-winning hit in a 9-8 victory over Monmouth on Saturday. The Beaverton, Ore., local leads the Raiders with 11 RBI in eight games and currently has a five-game hitting streak intact.
