WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Colgate softball team completed a clean sweep of five games at the George Washington Invitational with a pair of victories Sunday morning. The Raiders (5-0) defeated Mt. St. Mary's 3-0 and George Washington 8-1.
In the first game, senior Elena Isaac picked up her second win of the season pitching five innings, allowing one hit and striking out three. Sophomore Kate Howard worked the final two innings allowing one hit.
Nichole Rawson, Dorothy Donaldson and Erin Hanna each had a RBI for the Raiders.
Against George Washington, freshman Kelsey Nordstrom (2-0) pitched five innings allowing three hits and striking out six, while Kristie Kenton hurled the final inning for the Raiders.
Nichole Rawson was 2-for-4, while Natalie Rawson was 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Freshman Danielle Soule was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a pair of doubles.
Full statistics on all five games will be posted on Monday after the team travels back to campus.
