CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Five Patriot League women’s soccer players were named All-Stars recently by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), the highest number in League history.

All five players earned second-team laurels, with Navy boasting three selections and Boston University two. The five represent the first ECAC All-Star selections in women's soccer since three players were second-team honorees in 2009.

Navy placed senior Elizabeth Hoerner on the second team at goalkeeper, while juniors Jade Seabrook and Morgan Dankanich were second-team selections at defense and forward, respectively. All three won major awards from the Patriot League in November as voted on by the League’s 10 head coaches. Hoerner repeated as Goalkeeper of the Year while Seabrook nabbed her second straight Defensive Player of the Year honor. Dankanich was the Offensive Player of the Year.

Boston University’s two selections were senior midfielder Emma Clark and junior defender Kai Miller.

All five student-athletes were first-team All-Patriot League selections in November.
