ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy women's soccer sophomore Jade Seabrook (St. Paris, Ohio/Graham HS) has been named to the NCAA Division I All-America Third Team, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) recently announced.
Seabrook is the first women's player in Navy program history to earn NSCAA/Continental Tire Women's Soccer All-America honors and she is one of four defenders on the All-America Third Team.
Seabrook was named the 2012 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and also to the all-league first team. She was a two-time Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week and was named to the Patriot League All-Tournament and Navy Invitational All-Tournament Teams.
Seabrook was the leader of Navy's defensive backline and helped Navy post nine shutouts and the league's best goals-against average (0.90). Seabrook led all field players with 1684 minutes played.
Seabrook also was a force on the offensive end as she tallied eight points on two goals and four assists.
