American senior forward Anabel Jimenez was named the Brine Offensive Player of the Week, Holy Cross senior keeper Christine Arsenault was named the Brine Defensive Player of the Week and Navy midfielder Meggie Curran was selected as the Brine Freshman of the Week when the Patriot League women's soccer awards were announced Monday.
BRINE Offensive Player of the Week

Jimenez wins her first BRINE Offensive Player of the Week award of the season and second of her career after scoring a hat trick, including the unassisted game-winner in overtime, in a 5-4 win against Navy. She also tallied the first goal of Saturday's 2-1 PL triumph at Lehigh. Jimenez is third in the PL with 23 points.

BRINE Defensive Player of the Week

Arsenault wins the first BRINE Defensive Player of the Week of her career after a solid performance in a 1-1 tie Saturday against Bucknell. Arsenault made eight saves on 18 Bucknell shots, giving the Crusaders their first point in the PL standings this year. She shares the PL lead with 64 saves this season.

Curran wins her first BRINE Freshman of the Week award contributing a goal in each Navy contest this week. Curran scored a goal in Tuesday's PL loss to American, then tallied the first goal in Saturday's 3-0 win at Lafayette. She is among the team leaders with six goals and 14 points this season.
