Army senior Lauren Rowe, the 2002 Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year, recorded a 3.67 grade-point average (GPA) during the fall semester and was among the 101 student-athletes named to the 2002 Patriot League Women's Soccer Academic Honor Roll, announced today by Carolyn Schlie Femovich, Patriot League Executive Director.

Four women's soccer players tallied perfect 4.00 GPAs last semester, including Bucknell's Lauren Schwarz, Colgate's Lauren Erickson, and Navy juniors Jeanne Cameron and Quinn Rinehart.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the seven League-sponsored fall championship sports.

A total of 510 student-athletes were named to the League's Fall Academic Honor Roll, including 20 with 4.00 GPAs. The Fall Academic Honor Roll includes the sports of men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer and volleyball.

Bucknell led the way with 111 candidates on the League's Fall Academic Honor Roll. On the Women's Soccer Academic Honor Roll, the Bison captured 20 spots and Lehigh finished second with 17 student-athletes on the list.
