ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Led by a goal from Patriot League Rookie of the Year Erica Kosienski and a shutout from All-League Second Team honoree senior Andrea Green, the No. 25 Boston University women's soccer team captured its first Patriot League Championship with a 1-0 win over Navy on Sunday afternoon at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.

The Terriers broke the scoreless affair late in the first half following a throw-in on the far side. Kosienski corralled the ball and turned on the defender to fire a shot from 10 yards out in the box. The ball hit the underside of the crossbar and crossed the goal line to give BU a 1-0 advantage.

BU earns an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament and will learn its destination fate on Monday (Nov. 11) at 4:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.
