Center Valley, Pa. - Navy's Kerry Hannon, the 2009 Patriot League Women's Rowing Scholar-Athlete of the Year, is one of 96 women's rowing student-athletes named to this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Hannon, a senior, finished the spring semester with a 3.83 GPA in her Applied Mathematics major.

Six Patriot League student-athletes posted 4.0 GPAs in the spring semester. Cassie Mastrostefano, an undeclared freshman at Bucknell, received a 4.0 for her efforts and was joined in this feat by teammates Jillian O'Mara, Nicole Pilling and Kim Weaver. Allison Patchen, a Colgate junior from Pittsford, N.Y. joins the list with a 4.0, and a pair of Holy Cross teammates, Mattea Cumoletti and Eliza Gettel, round out the students with 4.0 GPAs in the spring.

Holy Cross paced all Patriot League schools with 33 student-athletes making the Academic Honor Roll. Bucknell tallied 30 student-athletes for Honor Roll selection, and Lehigh placed 16 on the list.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports. The criteria for awarding varsity letters are different at each institution.
