Eight Patriot League Rowers were named to the 2007 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association's (CRCA) All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team it was announced on Monday. Included on the list were four student-athletes from Bucknell, three from Navy and one from Colgate. Additionally, Bison Head Coach Stephen Kish was named the Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year.
Bucknell, two-time Patriot League champion, placed three of its CRCA All-Region selections on the first team including Katherine Brewster-Duffy, Whittney Henry and Jeweliet Yost (coxswain). Kelly Henkler represented the Bison on the second team. All four of Bucknell's honorees were named to the All-Patriot League team in 2007.
Navy's Lindsey Spiese was named first team all-region, while Kristin Lyles (coxswain) and Abby Maxwell were second team members. Spiece and Maxwell also took home All-Patriot League honors, after the Mids' runner-up finish at the 2007 Patriot League Championship.
Lindsey Hochman represented Colgate on the CRCA All-Region list on the second team, after being named All-Patriot League during early May.
The Patriot League's eight selections to the CRCA All-Region Team are its most over the last three years, having had two representatives in both 2005 and 2006.
