All five Patriot League teams were in action last weekend at three different competitions. Bucknell, Colgate and Lehigh all competed in the Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, Pa. Holy Cross was at the ECAC Championship on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass, while Navy took part in the Eastern Sprints Championship in Camden, N.J., on the Cooper River.

Bucknell: At the Dad Vail Regatta, Bucknell's second varsity eight, which was rowing in the JV eight races, won its semifinal with a time of 6:46.25. The top three boats in each of the two semifinal heats moved on to the final, where Bucknell earned the silver medal in a time of 6:45.31. The varsity four came up with a victory in the semifinal (7:30.18), advancing the team to the finals. In a tightly contested final that featured the top five boats separated by just over 13 seconds, Bucknell finished fifth in 7:32.78.
Colgate: At last weekend's Dad Vail Regatta, Colgate finished second in the first race of the varsity heavyweight four (8:02.99) to advance to the semifinals. The Raiders finished sixth in the semifinals with a time of 8:04.89. In the semifinals of the varsity heavyweight eight, Colgate claimed fourth place with a time of 6:42.74, moving on to the repechage second final with five other boats. Colgate took fifth in the race with a time of 6:54.3. In the JV heavyweight eight, the Raiders were able to advance to the semifinals with a third-place finish in the first round, clocking in at 7:17.66. In the semifinals JV heavyweight, Colgate took third place with a time of 6:49.57. Their third-place finish gave them entry into the finals along with five other boats. The Raiders finished sixth with a time of 7:01.93.
Holy Cross: Overall, the Crusaders finished fifth at the ECAC Championship with 48 points. Holy Cross' novice eight crew finished second in the grand final with a time of 7:04.29. The varsity eight boat finished fifth in one of the semifinals in 7:00.60. The Crusaders would go on to take fifth in the petite final of the varsity eight competition in a time of 7:00.71. In the grand final of the varsity four plus coxswain race, the Crusaders took sixth with a time of 8:17.86. The second varsity eight crew took third place in a very closely contested petite final with a time of 7:11.17.
Lehigh: Lehigh competed in the Dad Vail Regatta this past weekend. On Friday the novice eight won by plenty of open water (8 sec.), followed by Saturday morning semifinals which they also took by a (5 sec.) length. In the finals, the novice eight crossed just 0.9 seconds behind Purdue for the silver medal.
Navy: Navy finished sixth (7:25.38) in the second varsity grand finale of the Eastern Sprints Championship held on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. The appearance in the grand final marked the first time in program history that either Navy varsity boat advanced to the championship race at the regatta. Navy's varsity boat ended its day on a high note by posting a five-second victory in the third-level final. The Mids won the race in a time of 7:32.46 after placing fifth in its trial heat. Navy's third varsity boat placed sixth in the petite final, the first novice boat placed second in the third-level final and the second novice boat placed fourth in its lone race of the day.
