Three years ago, Jackie Ogden agreed to spend 11 months in a foreign country and live with a family she didn't know.

It turned out to be one of the best experiences of her life.

Two years ago, Ogden came to Lehigh University looking to find a sport to occupy her craving for competition and exercise. She found rowing through a hometown neighbor.

It is turning out to be one of the best experiences of her life.
