Patriot League Announces Rowing Academic Honor Roll
Navy's Kerry Hannon, the 2009 Patriot League Women's Rowing Scholar-Athlete of the Year, is one of 96 women's rowing student-athletes named to this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Seven Patriot League student-athletes posted 4.0 GPAs in the spring semester. Bucknell teammates Cassie Mastrostefano, Nicole Pilling, Jillian O'Mara and Kim Weaver achieved 4.0 GPAs. Also earning 4.0 GPAs during the spring were Colgate's Allison Patchen and Holy Cross teammates Mattea Cumoletti and Eliza Gettel.

Bucknell Lightweight Eight Takes Second At IRA National Championships
The Bucknell women's rowing lightweight eight posted the second-best finish in program history at the IRA National Championship Regatta on Saturday. The Bison, who won the title in 2007, placed second in a six-boat field to defending national champion Wisconsin, finishing in a time of 7 minutes, 7.71 seconds.

CRCA Recognizes 19 Patriot League Rowers As National Scholar-Athletes
Nineteen Patriot League student-athletes were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athletes, it was announced this week. The CRCA recognizes student-athletes who are at least sophomore standing, have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and have been members of the institution's NCAA or IRA eligible boats for a minimum of 75% of the spring season.

Five Patriot League Rowing Student-Athletes Named To CRCA All-Region Team
The Bucknell women's rowing team had a record five student-athletes named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-Mid-Atlantic Region Teams, it was announced recently. The five Bison to earn spots on the squads were seniors Whittney Henry and Page Kannor, who landed on the first team, while senior Kelly Henkler, sophomore Carol Schoenecker and senior coxswain Jeweliet Yost showed up on the second team.
