Center Valley, Pa. - The Patriot League has come to a multiple-year agreement with Inside Lacrosse, it was announced Monday. Inside Lacrosse will market and showcase Patriot League men and women's lacrosse programs, coaches, student-athletes and institutions.
"This landmark marketing alliance allows the Patriot League to showcase its institutions, as well as its coaches, student-athletes and successful lacrosse programs," said Richard Wanninger, Patriot League Associate Executive Director. "The Patriot League is an example of the compatibility of intercollegiate athletics and academics. We have enjoyed a great deal of success both on the lacrosse field as well as in the classroom, and Inside Lacrosse will provide us the opportunity to tell our story and share the goals and values of the Patriot League."
"We are pleased to be working so closely with the Patriot League," commented Bob Carpenter, Publisher of Inside Lacrosse. "We were already excited to have Army and Navy participating in the Day of Rivals. This partnership will give us an opportunity to go beyond who scored how many goals. Inside Lacrosse will make sure that our audience is aware of the history, the players and coaches that have shaped the sport's tradition across the Patriot League."
"As well, we share the vision of the Patriot League staff and athletic directors who were willing to make lacrosse a priority by creating such a unique partnership."
The agreement will come over a variety of platforms including Inside Lacrosse magazine, Inside Lacrosse's Face-Off Yearbook as well as insidelacrosse.com. It will also include promotion of the Patriot League's men's and women's lacrosse championships, as well as other marketing opportunities to tell the story of the Patriot League.
