LEWISBURG, Pa. - Coming off a year where it posted its most wins in more than a decade, the Bucknell women's lacrosse team had nine of its student-athletes named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Thursday. The Bison ranked fifth in the league in number of honorees.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.
Among the Bison recognized were senior co-captain Catherine Barry and sophomore goalie Alyssa DeLorenz, the Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year. DeLorenz posted a 4.0 grade-point average during the spring semester.
