2012 Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Academic Honor Roll
Center Valley, Pa. -- A total of 102 women's lacrosse student-athletes have been named to this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, including 2012 Scholar-Athlete of the Year sophomore Katelyn Miller of Bucknell.
Miller, a Biology major, achieved a 3.83 grade-point average in the spring semester. She was one of 12 student-athletes to earn Academic Honor Roll distinction after making the Women's Lacrosse Academic All-Patriot League Team in April.
Three student-athletes from American earned a 4.0 GPA for the spring semester as junior Emily Burton (Psychology), senior Paige Lin (Interdisciplinary Studies) and junior Eliza Morgan (Business Administration) all hit the mark. They are joined by Bucknell freshman Blair McDonald who also achieved a 4.0 GPA this spring.
Lafayette led all Patriot League schools with 21 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll list. Bucknell was a close second with 19 student-athletes, followed by American with 18. Lehigh added 14 names to the list and Navy contributed 11.
To be eligible for the spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average during the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
