Center Valley, Pa.--Lafayette College sophomore Kelsey Andersen has been named ECAC Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week following her performance in a pair of victories last week. Andersen recorded her fifth and six shutouts of the season in wins over West Chester and Colgate. She stopped all six shots on goal she faced to earn her 11th and 12th victories of the season.
Andersen and Lafayette will participate in the upcoming Patriot League Tournament in Washington, D.C. Second-seeded Lafayette will play third-seeded Bucknell on Friday at 1:30 p.m. That will follow an 11 a.m. match-up between top-seeded American and fourth-seeded Colgate. The two winners will meet in the championship at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
