HAMILTON, N.Y. - The Colgate University field hockey team will host Albany on Tuesday, Oct. 25, in a game that was relocated due to insufficient lighting at the Great Dane's facility. The game will take place at 5:00 p.m., at Tyler Field.

Colgate trails in the all-time series with Albany, 3-2. The Raiders were able to take last season's game by a score of 3-2. That game saw Albany hold a 1-0 lead for the first 45 minutes of the game before a flurry of goals late in the second half gave Colgate the victory. Ashley Schneider scored two of the goals while Sarah McCarthy picked up all three assists.

The Raiders enter the game having lost nine of their last 10 games, including an overtime loss to Lehigh on Saturday. The lone win was in a double-overtime game against Patriot League rival Lafayette that gave Colgate its first league victory.

Senior forward Dana Shaner (Pottstown, Pa.) leads the team with 28 points and 12 goals, and is tied for the lead with four assists. She also leads the Patriot League in shots per game (5.19), is fifth in points per game (1.75), and is third in the league in goals per game (0.75). With one goal in the final two games she will tie Francine Zolot '86 for 10th place on the Raiders' career goals list.

Albany is riding a four-game winning streak and holds an 8-8 overall record. Most recently, the Great Danes upset No. 18 Boston University on Saturday. Albany is currently in third place in the America East conference with a 2-2 league record.

Senior forward Tina Bryson leads the team with nine goals and 21 points in 16 games. Arlette Westdorp, a freshman midfielder, is tops on the team with 13 assists and has 19 points overall, good for second on the team. Fellow freshman Ashley Ross has seen the majority of time in goal, starting 15 of the Great Danes' 16 games. She has a 2.24 goals against average and a .650 save percentage.

The Raiders will play their final game of the season on Saturday, October 29th at American at 1:00 p.m.
