Center Valley, Pa. - The three schools that won the Patriot League field hockey contests over the weekend were all honored with a weekly award on Monday, as Bucknell sophomore Corrine Raczek earned Offensive Player of the Week recognition, Lafayette senior Jaclyn DiSanti was named the League's Defensive Player of the Week and American freshman Tatum Dyer received the Rookie of the Week award. Holy Cross senior Erin Singleton rounds out the weekly winners as the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week.
Raczek led Bucknell to a come-from-behind, 2-1, win over Lehigh by scoring the game-tying goal and assisting on the game-winner with 1:27 to go in the contest. DiSanti recorded an assist and led a Lafayette defense that held Holy Cross without a single shot or penalty corner in a 1-0 Leopard victory. Singleton totaled 30 saves in three games, including a career-high 14 against Columbia, for the Crusaders. Dyer played the entire way on defense in American's 2-0 victory over Colgate.
Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week
Corinne Raczek, Bucknell
So, F, Ocean Township, N.J.
Raczek tallied a goal and an assist in Bucknell's 2-1 victory over Lehigh on Saturday. She pulled Bucknell into a tie with her first-career goal 13:45 into the second half, and then assisted on the game-winner with 1:27 to play in the game. It was her 10th assist of the season, tying Bucknell's single-season record.
Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week
Jaclyn DiSanti, Lafayette
Sr., M/D, Fairfield, N.J.
DiSanti was part of a Lafayette defense that held Holy Cross without a single shot or penalty corner in a 1-0 Leopard victory on Saturday. She also recorded an assist on Lafayette's goal, her 10th of the season. DiSanti notched a defensive save in Lafayette's 1-0 loss to Columbia on Wednesday. It is her second Defensive Player of the Week honor of the year.
Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week
Erin Singleton, Holy Cross
Sr., GK, Amesbury, Mass.
Singleton had a strong week in nets for the Crusaders, stopping 30 of 34 shots she faced while leading Holy Cross to a 1-2 record. She had seven saves in a 2-1 overtime win over Stanford on Monday, and recorded nine saves in a 1-0 loss to Lafayette on Saturday. Singleton finished the week with a career-high 14 saves in a 2-1, overtime loss to Columbia on Sunday. Singleton has made 94 saves this season.
Patriot League Rookie of the Week
Tatum Dyer, American
Fr., D, Wyndham, N.H.
Dyer receives her third Rookie of the Week honor after playing all 70 minutes on defense in each of No. 20 American's contests over the weekend. She helped the Eagles to a 2-0 shutout victory over Colgate on Saturday, and went the whole way in a 3-1 loss to No. 2 Syracuse on Sunday.
