The Patriot League named American's Heidi Hershberger and Maggie Hall as Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, after the Eagles' 3-2 win over #3 Maryland. Holy Cross goalkeeper Sony Kuhn took home Defensive Player of the Week accolades.

Offensive Player of the Week
Heidi Hershberger -- American
Soph., Forward (Davis, Calif./Davis)
Hershberger is named Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts in leading American to three wins last week, including a 3-1 victory over #3 Maryland. She registered a career game-high six points against Lafayette with two goals and two assists. The sophomore forward netted two goals in the win over Maryland and chipped in another against James Madison. She ranks among League leaders in points (18), points per game (1.50) and goals (7).
Defensive Player of the Week
Sony Kuhn -- Holy Cross
Jr., Goalkeeper (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Ursula)
Kuhn earns Defensive Player of the Week accolades after a 1-1 week, including a 2-0 win over Lehigh and a close 3-2 loss to #12 Boston College. Kuhn averaged an .875 save percentage on the week with a total of 19 saves. The junior net minder was able to hold Boston College to two goals, while posting nine saves and secured the shutout against the Mountain Hawks with 10 stops. The Cincinnati, Ohio native leads the League in save percentage (.840) and shutouts (4).
Rookie of the Week
Maggie Hall -- American
Fr., Midfielder (Annville, Pa./Palmyra)
Hall brings home her first Rookie of the Week honor joining teammate Hershberger with a standout 3-0 week. The freshman midfielder exploded for three goals in the 8-2 win over Lafayette, scoring her second hat-trick in two weeks. She leads the Eagles with eight goals and is the top freshman scorer for the team with 16 points. The Annville, Pa., native is tied for first in the PL in goals (8) and fourth in both shots per game (3.75) and goals per game (0.67).
