Lafayette took three of the four Patriot League field hockey weekly awards after improving to 2-0 on the year last week. Those honored from Lafayette included Kelly Hilovsky (Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week), Jaclyn DiSanti (Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week) and Kelsey Anderson (Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week). Lehigh's Madison Ingal rounded out the weekly award winners, being named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week
Kelly Hilovsky, Lafayette
Jr., F, Douglassville, Pa.
Hilovsky scored two of Lafayette's three goals in its victory over Quinnipiac to improve to 2-0 on the year. The junior forward connected on two of the three shots she took in the game. Her two goals equal her total from all of last season.
Defensive Player of the Week
Jaclyn DiSanti, Lafayette
Sr., D, Fairfield, N.J.
DiSanti anchored the Leopard defense that held Quinnipiac to a single goal in Lafayette's 3-1 victory. The Garden State native registered a defensive save in the first half to help the Leopards maintain a 1-0 lead. She also tallied three points in the game with a goal and an assist.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Kelsey Anderson, Lafayette
So., West Long Branch, N.J.
Anderson earned the win in cage in Lafayette's 3-1 victory over Quinnipiac. The sophomore goalie recorded five saves and posted an .833 save percentage.
Rookie of the Week
Madison Ingal, Lehigh
Fr., F/M, Basking Ridge, N.J.
Ingal netted her first two collegiate goals in Lehigh's 4-1 win over Bryant. The freshman from New Jersey scored the first goal of the game and then put the Mountain Hawks up 3-1.

Tallied three points...Scored a goal against No. 12 Duke...Had an assist versus No. 5 Iowa.
Morgan Kauffman, Bucknell
So., M, Millersville, Pa.
Scored two goals in Bucknell's 4-2 victory over Ball State.

Sr., D, Medfield, Mass.
Posted four points over three games...Had one goal and two assists.
Patriot League Notebook
Taking On Tough Competitors
Last week Patriot League teams took on four nationally ranked opponents. American played No. 5 Iowa and No. 12 Duke. Colgate faced No. 18 Syracuse and Holy Cross took on No. 13 Boston College.
Unbeatens
Lafayette is one of 13 teams in the nation with a perfect record after two weeks of play. Other teams with unblemished records hail from the following conferences: Big East (5 teams), ACC (3), Ivy (2), Big Ten (1) and Colonial (1).
Lafayette Leading
Lafayette is the Patriot League's top-ranked team in eight of the 11 team categories the NCAA tracks in its weekly statistically rankings. This includes Lafayette ranking in the top 10 or better in the country in winning percentage (1st), scoring margin (tied 9th), scoring average (10th), goals per game (tied 10th) and points per game (tied 10th).
Adding Assists
Last week Bucknell senior Amanda Faust moved into a tie for eighth on the Patriot League's all-time assist list. Faust currently has 26 assists in her career. The all-time League record for assists is 45 and is held by Lafayette's Meredith Hahn (2000-03).
2008 Patriot League Championship
The 2008 Patriot League Field Hockey Championship will be held Friday-Saturday, Nov. 7-8 at the site of the highest seed. Two semifinal games will take place on Friday, Nov. 7 with the No. 1 seed facing the No. 4 seed and the No. 2 seed facing the No. 3 seed. The championship game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 8.
Team Notebooks
American American fell to two nationally ranked opponents this past weekend with losses to No. 5 Iowa and No. 12 Duke. Junior Savannah Graybill provided the Eagles with their lone goal against Iowa with sophomore Christine Fingerhuth providing the assist. Fingerhuth went on to score a goal against Duke in a 3-1 loss.
Bucknell Bucknell started off the weekend with a 4-2 win over Ball State. Sophomore Morgan Kauffman scored two goals in the victory. Senior Amanda Faust had a three-point day against Ball State with a goal and an assist. Faust's assist moved her into a tie for eighth on the Patriot League's all-time list now with 26 in her career. The Bison then dropped a 2-1 game to Towson with senior Katie Ruiz scoring Bucknell's only goal. Junior goalie Jessie Atieh made 10 saves over two games, including eight versus Towson.
Colgate Colgate notched wins over Monmouth, 4-2, and Rider, 3-1, this past weekend after falling to No. 18 Syracuse last Tuesday. Senior Lauren Carey posted four points last week with a goal and an assist against Monmouth and another assist versus Rider. Junior Mika Ella-Tang scored twice over the weekend bringing her total in four games this season to three goals. As a sophomore, she posted two goals and four points the entire season. Senior Maddie Watrobski moved into second on the all-time assist list at Colgate with a helper in the victory over Rider. Watrobski now has 20 assists in her career.
Holy Cross Senior goalie Erin Singleton made 10 saves in a 0-2 week for the Crusaders. Eight of Singleton's stops came against No. 13 Boston College. Holy Cross will continue play with two games this week, hosting Providence on Wednesday and traveling to Yale on Saturday.
Lafayette Junior Kelly Hilovsky matched her season total of goals from all of last season with two in Lafayette's 3-1 victory over Quinnipiac. Senior Jaclyn DiSanti notched the Leopards' other goal in their win on Sunday and assisted on the first goal of the game. DiSanti was credited with a defensive save in the first half. Sophomore Kelsey Anderson made five saves in the win, her most since a penalty stroke game last year on Oct. 14.
Lehigh Lehigh earned its first win of the season on Saturday with a 4-1 victory over Bryant, out-shooting the Bulldogs, 22-6. Freshman Madison Ingal scored her first two career goals in the win, while sophomore Lauren Cawley also notched her first career goal. Senior Kara Zweizig netted a pair of goals in Lehigh's 3-2 double overtime loss to West Chester on Wednesday. Zweizig also recorded a defensive save in the same game.
