Tennessee-native Alex Ross is receiving an early graduation present from Lehigh University.

Ross, who is a senior guard for the Mountain Hawks, will get to play a pair of games in Nashville to start her final season at Lehigh. The Mountain Hawks will open their season at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Lipscomb before facing 20th-ranked Vanderbilt at 2 p.m. Sunday.

"It's going to be amazing," Ross said. "I'm not used to playing anywhere in the South, so it will be really nice to play in front of my friends and family."

The games will be the first for Ross in Tennessee since graduating from Columbia Central in 2006.
