Center Valley, Pa. - Forty-two student-athletes were named to the 2006 Patriot League Women's Basketball Academic Honor Roll, announced Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich on Wednesday. Two of this year's honorees achieved a 4.00 grade-point average during the spring semester, including Lehigh's Natalie Green and Navy's Lauren Skrel.

Also, highlighting this year's honor roll is Holy Cross' Brittany Keil, the recipient of the 2006 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year award that was announced in April. The biology major obtained a 3.92 grade-point average during the spring semester and averaged 11.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in her junior season.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.

A total of 977 student-athletes were named to the Patriot League's Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, which includes the sports of men and women's basketball, men and women's swimming and diving, men and women's indoor track and field, baseball, golf, men and women's lacrosse, rowing, men and women's outdoor track and field, softball and men and women's tennis.
