CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Patriot League honored Army sophomore guard Kelsey Minato with the Rockin' Refuel® Performance of the Week award after she helped the Black Knights win their second Patriot League women’s basketball title in program history and first since 2006.

Minato, who averaged 23.7 points per game during the tournament, scored 31 points in Army’s 68-58 win over Holy Cross in the Championship game on Saturday at Christl Arena. Her point total set a single-game record for the women’s championship game. Minato won the Patriot League Tournament MVP, adding yet another trophy to her ever-expanding resume. Prior to the tournament’s start, she was named the Patriot League Player of the Year, a year removed from becoming the first player in League history to win both the Player and Rookie of the Year in the same season.
