Laura Aloisi predicted back in November -- and Holy Cross assistant coach Lindsay Shade is her witness -- that sophomore teammate Briana McFadden would be the Patriot League's Player of the Year.
Last Friday, Aloisi's prophecy became true. McFadden, who averaged 13.8 points, was named the PL's top player, the 11th time a Crusader has been so honored.
"She's got the attitude and the confidence of a senior," said Aloisi, who is a senior and one of HC's captains. "We look to her to make a big shot. She knows how to take over."
