CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- Army senior guard/forward Jen Hazlett and Lehigh freshman Kiernan McCloskey were named the final Patriot League Anaconda Women's Basketball weekly award winners of the 2013-14 season on Monday for their performances last week.
Hazlett captures her first Patriot League Anaconda Women's Basketball Player of the Week award of the season and second of her career in leading the Black Knights to a 3-0 week. The Syracuse, Utah native averaged 15.7 points and 11 rebounds while helping Army to road wins over Lehigh, Boston University and Lafayette. Hazlett grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds and scored 21 points in win over the Terriers on Wednesday. Scored all 13 of her points and recorded six of her nine rebounds on Saturday in first half of win over Leopards before being saddled with foul trouble. Was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line and dished out 3.7 assists for the week.
McCloskey brings home her second Patriot League Anaconda Women's Basketball Rookier of the Week award of the season after averaging 7.7 points and six rebounds in three games for the Mountain Hawks. The Fort Washington, Pa. native scored a career-high 12 points on a perfect shooting night against Army, going 4-for-4 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free throw line. Grabbed nine rebounds to go with six points in loss at Colgate.
Honorable mention status for the week ending Mar. 2 goes to Lehigh sophomore Kerry Kinek, Bucknell junior Audrey Dotson, Navy senior forward Jade Geif and American senior Alexis Dobbs.

Anaconda Player of the Week
JEN HAZLETT, ARMY Sr., G/F, 5-11; Syracuse, Utah
Averaged 15.7 PPG and 11.0 RPG to help the Black Knights go 3-0 during a busy final week of the regular season. Scored 13 points, including eight in the second half, during Army's 19-point comeback win at Lehigh on Monday. Hazlett led all scorers with 21 points and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds while posting her fifth double-double of the season at Boston U. on Wednesday. Shot 9-of-15 from the field against the Terriers. In Army's regular-season finale win over Lafayette on Saturday, she finished with 13 points and nine boards, coming just one rebound short of reaching back-to-back double-doubles.
Anaconda Rookie of the Week
KIERNAN McCLOSKEY, LEHIGH Fr., G/F, 6-1; Fort Washington, Pa.
McCloskey was named Patriot League Anaconda Rookie of the Week for the second time this season after averaging 7.7 ppg, 6.0 rpg, shooting 41.2% from the field and 80.0% from the free throw line. Made every shot she attempted in loss to Army on Monday while tossing in a career-high 12 points. Grabbed nine rebounds at Colgate.
KERRY KINEK, LEHIGH So., F, 6-3; Whitehall, Pa.
Averaged 20.3 points and 9 rebounds per game while recording back-to-back double-doubles against Bucknell and Colgate. Led the team in points against Army and Colgate. Recorded her eighth and ninth 20-plus point games of the season against Bucknell and Colgate, respectively.
AUDREY DOTSON, Jr., F, 6-1; Vienna, Va.
Averaged 21 points and 4.5 rebounds per game during Bucknell's 1-1 week. Shot 56.7% from the field, 50% on 3-point field goals and was 4-for-4 from the free throw line whiles leading Bison in scoring bith games.
ALEXIS DOBBS, AMERICAN Sr., G, 5-5; Berea, Ohio
Led the Eagles to a 2-0 week, including a win over first seeded Navy to secure the No. 3 seed in the Patriot League Tournament. Averaged 14.0 ppg, 6.5 rpg and 5.5 apg in wins over Bucknell and the Mids.
