WASHINGTON - The American University women's basketball team will play Lehigh on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pa. in Patriot League action.

The Eagles (10-12, 4-3 PL) are coming into the game on a season long three game winning streak and have won four of their last five. Last time out the Eagles beat Lafayette, 68-54, led by Talicia Jackson, who scored a team-high 16 points and added seven assists and Liz Hayes with 12 points.

Lehigh (13-9, 5-2 PL) is coming off a 53-51 loss to Holy Cross, they were led by Melissa Rich with 14 points and eight rebounds, while Alex Ross added 12 points. The Mountain Hawks are 1-2 in their last 3 games but still remain tied atop the Patriot League standings with Army and Holy Cross.

AU leads the all time series 12-7, however the Eagles are looking to avenge a 55-37 loss from earlier in the season. The Eagles will look for a better start this time, after being held to only nine points in the first half, while being outshot 32% to 13%. A key matchup will be between the teams leading scorers Hayes for American (13.7 ppg) and Alex Ross for Lehigh (10.9 ppg). An AU win will give both teams a 5-3 Patriot League record.
