Patriot League All-Access Package Captures Basketball Stretch Run

Center Valley, Pa. - The race for the Patriot League men and women's basketball regular-season titles hits full stride this weekend, with the second-half of the League schedule beginning and the regular-season crowns and Tournament seeding very much up for grabs on both sides.

To catch almost all of the remaining regular-season games, order the Patriot League All-Access package for a price of $7.95 per month. By purchasing the package for February, viewers will be able to see Patriot League men and women's basketball games through the remainder of the regular season which concludes on February 27.

The only games that will not be available through All-Access are the contests that will be shown live on the CBS College Sports Network, which is available across the country through local cable operators and via satellite on DIRECTV Channel 613 and Dish Network Channel 152. The second-half of the Patriot League Basketball season begins on Friday, when Bucknell visits Navy at 7 p.m. in a men's contest. The remaining men's weekend schedule includes Lehigh at American and Lafayette at Holy Cross on Saturday afternoon, and Colgate at Army on the CBS College Sports Network on Super Bowl Sunday at Noon. All four of the women's weekend games will be played on Saturday, with Holy Cross at Lafayette and Army at Colgate in the afternoon and Navy at Bucknell and American at Lehigh in the evening. Lehigh and Lafayette are tied for first place on the men's side with three teams just one game behind, while American leads Lehigh by one game in women's basketball heading into their showdown on Saturday.

 

 

In addition to the remaining regular-season contests in February, fans can follow the Patriot League Tournament in March through Patriot League All-Access. The package can also be viewed by going to the multimedia link at the right-hand sidebar of www.patriotleague.org, as well as through numerous buttons on the front page of the League website.

This marks the fourth season for Patriot League All-Access, which includes more than 100 men and women's basketball games and a variety of Patriot League Championship events. All-Access is powered by Microsoft's Silverlight technology, providing increased web browser compatibility and a redesigned user-friendly, state-of-the-art interface. Those that do not have Silverlight on their computers will be required to perform a quick one-time download of Silverlight before accessing the new video player.

The enhanced All-Access gives fans the highest-quality streaming experience and the most online video coverage of the Patriot League. The multimedia player also offers an improved search engine, which allows users to quickly locate videos they are interested in. Fans can search by sport, type of video and date to easily navigate to the newest content.
