Army's Olivia Schretzman was named the Patriot League Anaconda Rookie of the Week for the second time Monday.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Lehigh posted a pair of victories last week to keep pace with first-place American, and a pair of big performances from senior forward Alexa Williams led to her selection as the Patriot League Anaconda Player of the Week in women’s basketball for Jan. 16-22, it was announced Monday.
Joining Williams as an award winner Monday was Army freshman Olivia Schretzman as the Anaconda Rookie of the Week.
It’s Williams’ first career selection as Player of the Week. She was named Rookie of the Week three times during her freshman campaign of 2008-09. Meanwhile for Schretzman, it’s her second Rookie of the Week honor of the season, with the other coming Nov. 28.
ANACONDA PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ALEXA WILLIAMS, LEHIGH Sr., F, Warren, Ohio
The senior forward out of Warren, Ohio, helped lead Lehigh to a 2-0 week with victories on the road at Bucknell and at home against rival Lafayette. She opened the week Wednesday with her sixth double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds on 6-of-11 from the floor and helped anchor the interior defense in the second half in a 53-38 win over the Bison in Lewisburg, Pa. She recorded a pair of blocks in the game to move her into 11th on the League’s all-time chart with 109. Saturday against Lafayette she scored a career-high 23 points while shooting 8 of 14 from the floor with eight rebounds in a 68-55 victory over the Leopards. She recorded two more blocks in that contest and shot 7 of 11 from the foul line. For the week, she averaged 19.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game and shot 56 percent from the floor.
ANACONDA ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
OLIVIA SCHRETZMAN, ARMY Fr., F, Dayton, Ohio
Schretzman completed the double-dip victory Monday for the state of Ohio. The Dayton native helped Army post a 1-1 week, picking up seven points and five rebounds in Wednesday’s 61-54 victory at Colgate. During a tough defensive battle Saturday against first-place American, Schretzman scored four points and cleaned seven boards off the glass in a last-second 40-39 loss to the Eagles at West Point. Those seven rebounds tied the team lead for the game, while her four assists were a career high. Schretzman averaged 5.5 points and 6.0 rebounds while playing 28.0 minutes per contest for the Black Knights. She logged the start in both games.
LISA STRACK, AMERICAN Sr., G, Langhorne, Pa.
Strack’s clutch free throws with 0.9 seconds on the clock lifted American to a 40-39 victory at second-place Army Saturday afternoon. It was part of a 12-point, seven-rebound effort for the senior guard. Strack averaged 16.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game while shooting 43.8 percent from the floor. She scored 20 in Wednesday’s 49-44 win over Navy.
AMY LEPLEY, HOLY CROSS Jr., F, Norfolk, Mass.
Lepley averaged 15.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game to help lead the Crusaders to a 3-0 week. Her best outing was a 21-point, nine-rebound, five-assist outing Wednesday as Holy Cross won 75-61 at Lafayette. It was her third 20-point game of the season.
ALIX MEMBRENO, NAVY So., G, Loxahatchee, Fla.
Membreno led the Mids in points, field goal percentage, rebounds and steals on the week. She averaged 15.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, and scored 19 with eight boards and five assists in Saturday’s 61-52 win over Colgate in Annapolis. She shot a career-best 72.7 percent (8 of 11) in that victory over the Raiders.
