CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - It had never happened until last season, and now it's occurred three times in the last two seasons.
Army Kelsey Minato swept the Patriot League Anaconda Player and Rookie of the Week awards Monday for the period from Jan. 14-20 to become the third student athlete to claim both honors in the same week. Bucknell's Amy Zehner and Lafayette's Emily Homan are the previous two to do it, with both coming last season.
Four big matchups are on Wednesday's slate when League play resumes. Navy returns home to host American, which is tied for first with Army. The Black Knights will be home to host Colgate. Lafayette visits Holy Cross and Lehigh entertains Bucknell in the rest of Wednesday's action. All four games are set for 7 p.m.
