The women's game will be immediately followed by the Navy men's team playing host to Longwood at 7:30 p.m. The purchase of one ticket allows fans to attend both games.

A victory by the Mids would allow Navy to post a .500 record over its non-Patriot League schedule. Navy enters the contest against the Lady Bison with a 6-7 record following a road win over Air Force and a road loss to Seattle.

Navy's freshman class started to exert itself on Navy's western road trip, especially during Navy's 63-62 win over Air Force. The quintet of Audrey Bauer (Lake Zurich, Ill.), Veronica Ffrench (Milton, Fla.), Jade Geif (Lakeview, Minn.), Alix Membreno (Loxahatchee, Fla.) and Kara Pollinger (Fort Gay, W.Va.) combined for 35 of Navy's points, 16 of the team's 32 rebounds, nine of Navy's 16 assists and 122 of 200 minutes played against the Falcons. Individually, Bauer tallied 11 points and four assists, Geif posted nine points and five rebounds and Ffrench tallied the game's deciding point on a free throw with 1.7 seconds left on the clock.

Leading all players in scoring against Air Force was Chey Arvin (So., Noblesville, Ind.) who finished with 13 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Two days later in Navy's 62-50 loss to the Redhawks, Geif recorded 11 points, seven caroms and three steals, while Membreno and Bauer both scored eight points.

Howard has lost each of its last four games to see its record on the year fall to 3-10. Included among the team's setbacks this season have been losses to Vanderbilt, Connecticut and LSU, as well as a loss to Navy's fellow Patriot League-member school Lehigh. The Lady Bison have posted a victory over Loyola this season, a team Navy lost to.

Navy holds a 4-2 record in games played against Howard. The Mids have won each of the last three games against the Lady Bison, with each of those wins coming over the last four seasons.

Navy will open Patriot League play Saturday at Bucknell.
