Center Valley, Pa. - Army senior goalkeeper A.J. Glubzinski, a finalist for the 2008 Men's Soccer Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, was named to the First-Team All-Senior All-American Team, it was announced on Friday. The All-Senior All-America Team is based on the cumulative results of NCAA Division I coaches and national media and fan balloting for the award, which honors the attributes of senior student-athletes in the classroom and community, in character and in competition.
Joining Glubzinski on the All-Senior All-America First Team are: 2008 Men's Soccer Lowe's Senior CLASS Award winner Sam Cronin of Wake Forest; Michael Fucito of Harvard University; Dylan Curtis of University of California at Davis and Adam Gartner of Eastern Illinois University.
Second-Team recipients include: Yohance Marshall of University of South Florida; Matt Besler of Notre Dame; O'Brian White of University of Connecticut; Dylan Sheehan of Brown University and Garret Guthrie of University of Missouri- Kansas City.
Glubzinski is the 2008 Patriot League Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
