Center Valley, Pa.--After notching a seven-point week, Colgate senior forward Alex Weekes was named ECAC Division I Men's Soccer Player of the Week. Weekes received the honor on Tuesday, a day after being named Patriot League Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

In two games, Weekes recorded seven points, helping the Raiders record victories over Syracuse and Albany. Weekes scored two goals, including the game-winning penalty kick in overtime, in Colgate's 3-2 win over Syracuse. He then added a goal and an assist in the Raiders' 3-1 win at Albany.

Colgate will next be in action Tuesday evening at Siena. Two other Patriot League teams, Holy Cross and Lehigh, will compete on Tuesday, as well. The Crusaders will play at Northeastern while Lehigh travel to Delaware.
