Loyola senior defender Joe Fletcher was the lone League student-athlete to earn first-team preseason All-America honors from IL. Four players were third-team picks, including Navy senior long pole Pat Kiernan, Colgate senior defender Bobby Lawrence, Bucknell senior defenseman Jackson Place and Lehigh junior goalkeeper Matt Poillon. Honorable mention honors went to Bucknell junior David Dickson and Colgate junior Ryan Walsh at attack, and Loyola senior Pat Laconi at midfield.
