Center Valley, Pa.--Two former Patriot League student-athletes were drafted on Wednesday during 2009 The National Lacrosse League Entry. Colgate attackman Kevin Colleluori was selected in the fourth round with the 36th overall pick by the Minnesota Swarm. His former teammate, three-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year Brandon Corp, was chosen in the sixth round with the 57th overall pick by the Rochester Knighthawks.

Colleluori and Corp, both 2009 graduates of Colgate, led Colgate to the 2008 Patriot League Championship and into the NCAA Tournament as juniors. Colleluori finished his career with 129 points (103 goals, 26 assists). He was named to the All-Patriot League team during his final two seasons in Hamilton. Corp was a four-time All-Patriot League selection and was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year during his final three seasons with the Raiders. He scored at least one point in all 15 games last season to finish with a 48-game scoring streak. As a senior, Corp led the nation in scoring, averaging 4.20 points per game. Corp was also drafted by the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse. The Cannons selected Corp fourth overall during the MLL draft in May.

The NLL will begin is 24th season of professional indoor lacrosse on Friday, January 8. Corp and the Knighthawks will start the 2010 campaign on January 9 at home against Buffalo. Colleluori and the Swarm will open the season at Calgary on January 10.
