No. 4 seed Virginia (10-3) and fifth-seeded Navy (11-3) will face one another Saturday at 3 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the 2005 Div. I NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament. Saturday's contest between the Cavaliers and Midshipmen will be the second of the two-game quarterfinal held at Johns Hopkins' Homewood Field in Baltimore. Johns Hopkins and Massachusetts will kick things off at 12-Noon.
Tickets ($12 for adults, $10 for students from the participating schools and $10 for children 12 and under) may be purchased through the Johns Hopkins Ticket Office by calling 410-516-7490.
Navy's flagship station 1430 WNAV will carry the game live with Pete Medhurst calling the action. In addition, Comcast Sports Net and CN8 will air the game live locally, while ESPNU will show the game tape delayed Saturday at 8 p.m.
The winner of the Navy-Virginia contest will move on to the semifinals at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field Saturday, May 28, and will face the winner of the Johns Hopkins-Massachusetts game.
