Although the route was different, the results remained the same as Army and Navy will meet in a rematch of the 2005 Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Championship Game Sunday at Tyler's Field in Hamilton, N.Y. No. 4 Army knocked off top-seed Colgate, 10-8, while No. 2 Navy dispatched No. 3 Lehigh, 9-2.

The Csdets trailed by three goals with eight minutes remaining before scoring five unanswered goals to advance to the Patriot League Championship for the second-straight year. Army had to play catch up most of the game, despite taking an early 1-0 lead on a John Walker goal 7:04 into the contest.

Despite tying the contest at 2 and 3, Army trailed 6-2 with less than four minutes remaining in the opening half, and was behind 8-5 early in the fourth.

Kevin LoRusso scored the gamewinner, his second of the contest, with 3:14 to play off a Walker pass. Matt Scheel added an unassisted goal one minute later to seal the win. Walker led the Black Knights with three goals and a pait of assists.

Colgate was led by Brendan Hurley's three goals and two assists.

Army has advanced to the Patriot League Championship game for the second-straight season, and improved to its Tournament record to 2-1.

Meanwhile, in game two, the Mids spotted Lehigh a one-goal lead nine minutes into the contest. That would be the last time the Mountain Hawks would be in the game, who were outsed by Navy in the semifinals for the second-straight season.

The Mids scored eight-straight goals, three in the first quarter, to run away with its third consecutive semifinals victory. The Midshipmen advance to the Patriot League Championship game for the third-straight season. Navy is the two-time defending League champion.

Ian Dingman and Jon Birsner led the Midshipmen with four points apiece, with Dingman finding the back of the net a game-high three times, while Birsner recorded a game-high three assists. Michael Zurfluth and Jeff King scored for Lehigh.

The 2006 Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Championship will take place on Sunday, April 30 at Noon on Colgate's Tyler's Field in Hamilton, N.Y. The game can be seen live on CSTV.
