CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Loyola University Maryland will host the Patriot League Men's Lacrosse tournament at the Ridley Athletic Complex from April 25-27, following a 15-6 win Saturday afternoon over Boston University in Baltimore, Md.
The Greyhounds ascended to the No. 1 spot in both the USILA coaches poll and the Warrior media poll on March 24 and have held the top spot for the past three weeks. Loyola has won 11 straight contests, including all seven Patriot League matchups, since opening the season with an overtime loss at Virginia.
The Patriot League postseason will begin on Tuesday, April 22 with quarterfinal round games involving Bucknell, Colgate, Lehigh and Navy. Army locked up the No. 2 seed with a 14-7 win Saturday over rival Navy and earns a bye into the semifinal round along with host Loyola.
Lehigh, the number three seed, will host No. 6 Navy in one of the quarterfinal round games on April 22. The other quarterfinal round matchup will be between Colgate and Bucknell who are both at 4-3 in the Patriot League standings. Colgate would win the tiebreaker between the two for the No. 4 seed and the right to host in the quarterfinal round.
The quarterfinal round winners will join the top two seeds for the four-team field Friday/Sunday, April 25/27. Friday's semifinals are set for 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., while Sunday's championship will be at 1 p.m. CBS Sports Network will air all three games of the tournament.

Navy concluded the regular season portion of its League schedule with the loss at Army and hosts No. 8/9 Johns Hopkins on Friday. The final three regular-season Patriot League games feature Bucknell at Loyola in a 7 p.m. game on Thursday that will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network and Lehigh at Lafayette and Army at Colgate in a pair of Friday night games. Both of those games will be available on the Patriot League Network.
