Army junior Jeff Bryan (offense), Bucknell senior Justin Sussman (defense) and Hobart freshman Mike Conklin (rookie) were the first weekly award winners of the 2003 Patriot League men's lacrosse season.
Offensive Player of the Week
JEFF BRYAN
Army -- Jr., Attack (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna)
Bryan captures the first Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week award for the 2003 campaign after contributing six goals and 14 assists in Army's first five matches. Bryan had five-point performances in narrow victories over Denver (12-10) and Air Force (8-7 in OT) and scored the game-winning goal in the Black Knights' PL triumph at Holy Cross.

Defensive Player of the Week
JUSTIN SUSSMAN
Bucknell -- Sr., Goalie (Towson, Md./Friends)
Sussman captures the League's first Defensive Player of the Week honor for the 2003 campaign after leading the Bison to a pair of victories, including a 10-2 decision over nationally-ranked Harvard. Sussman reached double-digits in saves all four matches, including 20-save performances vs. North Carolina and the Crimson. For the season, Sussman has a .681 save pct. and 7.73 GAA.

Rookie of the Week
MIKE CONKLIN
Hobart -- Fr., Attack (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee)
Conklin earned the first Patriot League Rookie of the Week award after contributing seven goals, two assists and six ground balls in a pair of League victories over Holy Cross and Lafayette. Conklin netted his first career hat trick in his first career start against the Crusaders and topped it a week later with four goals and an assist against Lafayette.
