While the Patriot League slate looks tough this year, Army coach Joe Alberici has a great outlook as his team preps for the coming season.

"As of right now, we're still undefeated," Alberici joked. Coming off a disappointing 7-8 season where Army made an early exit from the Patriot League Tournament, the road doesn't get any easier, as upstart conference rivals Lehigh and Colgate sit in the Top 20, making tough sledding for the Black Knights.

STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
Leadership is of paramount importance at a place like the United States Military Academy. The Black Knights had it in spades last season, boasting a dozen seniors on the roster.

"What was really unique about the '12 group, that by the time of their senior year, was that so many of them had played a role for us," Alberici said. "They really rose up and proved to be very terrific leaders for this program…They matured through that junior to senior season, and they were able to fill a pretty big void from that year before."
