Hamilton, N.Y. - The Lafayette men's golf team finished its season-opening tournament in fourth place at the Colgate Invitational Sept. 11-13 at Seven Oaks Golf Course in Hamilton, N.Y.

Sophomore Rob Robertson placed second overall with a score of 146 for the two days. On day one of the invitational Robertson scored a 71 and followed that with a 75 on the second day. Junior Tyler Ostrovsky, an all-league selection in 2009, placed 22nd with a score of 156 for the two days.

The Leopards shot 297 on the first day and a 316 on the second, for a combined score of 654 and finished fourth on the par-72 course.

The Leopards return to action Sept. 17-19 at the Bucknell Fall Invitational in Lewisburg, Pa.
